Sister visit

A couple of weeks ago, my sister Rachel visited big 'ole Peachtree City during her spring break. It's a far stretch from Cancun, but I'm hoping she had fun anyway. Among other things, we spent a good amount of the week making fun St. Patty's day treats for Evan's class. Oh, and Rachel was lucky enough to be a part of my first (and hopefully only) golfcart fender bender. No injuries, but we did lose a wheel.

Baby #3 at 18 weeks

All is going well with my pregnancy. I'm just past 18 weeks and feeling good. The boys continue to pat my tummy and Evan reminds Grant that "after mom's birthday (in July), she's gonna get the baby out of her tummy!" My latest ultrasound went well and showed a cute little profile. Jason thinks s/he has my nose: long and strong.

St. Patty's Day all week long

Evan's turn for snack week fell over the St. Patrick's Day holiday. Of course, I took this as my cue to go buckwild with fun themed treats. Thankfully Aunt Rachel was here to help... we stayed up late almost every night making these crazy creations. But the kids loved them!

Rainbow cupcakes

Pot-o-gold at the end of a rainbow

And of course, shamrock cookies

Dad runs playgroup

Jason played playgroup director for a day (when I went to visit a good friend and meet her new baby). As usual, he came up with some creative ways to entertain the kids.

Search & Rescue Center

Evan's proudest Tinker Toy creation: the Search & Rescue Center. It was so cool, we left it up for almost two weeks.

T-ball

Tis the season for t-ball, Evan's new sport this spring. Evan appears to really like it so far-- all except for the games (of which he has played 1). He says they "take forever!" I think he gets a little bored standing around in the field. He definitely makes great contact with the ball and is a fast runner. I have a feeling that as the weather gets warmer around here, the games will be tough for all of us to sit through!
