Cute baby #2
Stuff your sorries in a sack
Jerry: George, I'm sorry I slept with Nina.
George: You can stuff your sorries in a sack, mister!
Jerry: I wish you'd quit saying that!

Update on the boys
Ok, enough chit-chat. Here are some new photos.
Evan's favorite spot.
Wouldn't he make a cute little girl? This is as close as we're going to get.
Evan is hooked on the juice.

Yes, even the second child gets pictures
At the hospital: Evan makes nice with his new brother.

First official family shot.

Grandma & Grandpa Terreri meet Grant for the first time.
Life back at home. We all are adjusting well to life with a newborn again. Evan has really fallen in love with his new brother. He checks on him frequently throughout the day and enjoys inspecting and observing his curious movements and noises.
Mom and her two boys.
Grandma Bonnie & Grandpa Donnie meet Grant, their fourth great-grandchild, all of which are boys!
Traditional first bath photo. I believe Evan reacted the same way.
Grandma Bonnie & Grandpa Donnie brought Evan a present to bring out the aspiring musician-- he loves his new "peeno"!
Hidden messages: take a close look at Evan's t-shirt.

Welcome [finally] Grant Edward!
We are back home as of today and everyone is doing very well. Evan so far has only met Grant once at the hospital, and after a shakey start, he warmed up well and gave the baby kisses and was smiling and laughing. We're hoping the friendship continues...
I will post more later.... for now, a few pictures to keep you happy.
Last preggo pic, taken on 5/1.
New baby! Remember Evan's new baby shot?
Mommy & Grant in recovery.
Cute new baby shots.
Evan's first visit. Look at that face-- so sad!

Leaving the hospital today.

Other things that have happened
My friend Yuki threw me a really nice couples baby shower/poker night. We had a great time, ate some delicious food (Yuki is an awesome cook), and played an entertaining round of Texas Hold'em.
Last weekend, the Peetes (Yuki, Eric & Tai) came over for dinner. Evan and Tai, as usual, had a blast together and partied until 10pm. After dinner, Jason pulled out the pull-out couch for the boys to watch a movie. Tai couldn't believe that the couch turned into a bed--wow, what will they think of next??On Thursday, my friend Heather brought her two little girls, Bella & Sophia, over to play. It had been ages since Bella and Evan last saw each other, but it didn't take them long to become friends again. I didn't get the greatest of pictures, but you get the idea. In the last shot, if you look closely, you will see that Evan's hair is styled--a la Ryan Seacrest--with bubble solution and sand.

Catching up
Evan has a new fascination with yogurt. It usually ends up pretty messy, but at least it's a healthy addiction!
What kid doesn't love to play in laundry baskets? This was great for at least an hour's worth of entertainment.
This is me.... ONE WEEK AGO! The belly is just incredulous. But, I do have to boast that I still don't have any stretch marks (woohoo!).
We have been pulling out all of the baby items in preparation and Evan, of course, is very interested. Do you remember when he actually fit in this car seat?

Not only is a dog a great companion, he's also doubles as a great wet-vac.
For the past year or so, Peachtree City has been renovating the pond/park (Huddleston) at the end of our street. Recently, they put up a great new playground. Evan is a fan of just about any park, but I love the fact that it's so close to the house.
Evan's best impression of Cousin It.

Easter
Easter breakfast. I made waffles. Evan ate as if we starve the poor child.

Easter basket at home.
A lesson in perspective. Yes, his feet are big, but not THAT big!
On the hunt for eggs.
The boys find a cat that is willing to sit for a minute for attention from two doting toddlers.
There are two things that Evan has been obsessed with since he was very little. One is telephones; the other is ceiling fans. Here we were at the park, hunting for eggs, and what does he want to see? The ceiling fan in the park pavilion. Strange kid.
Some family shots. Jason and Evan look so cute in their matching green.

An honorable mention: Bullit. He often gets left out of my posting, but he's still very much a part of our family. Evan greets him every morning with a kiss and a "Hi Boo-wit!"
