a busy baby

Sorry! I know it's been a while since I've posted pictures of Evan, but we've been busy. Apart from the day-to-day tasks of keeping Evan entertained, we took our first road trip last weekend to DJ (Jason's brother) and Heather's wedding. It was a great weekend. The wedding was beautiful, the road trip was successful (all 11 hours of it!), and Evan was a charmer for his babysitters. Evan was also introduced to the extended Terreri family-- he was a hit! We took Evan swimming for the first time yesterday. I think we enjoyed it more than he did!

Evan meets his grandparents: round 2

I'm a little behind on my posting, and that's because Evan's grandparents were in town to visit the past week. He met his grandma DeNelda (my mom) and his great-grandparents Bonnie and Don (my grandparents). He also met his great-aunt Nellie and great-uncle Rich. We all had a wonderful time--Evan was showered with tons of love and affection, and I was given a nice break (all except for the night time feedings--no one seems to want to help with that!). Here are a bunch of pictures from the past week. Oh yeah, and the pediatrician recorded Evan at 11.5 lbs last Wednesday--he's averaging about 1 lb a week!

Evan is getting so big-- we are amazed! He has his next well-baby visit to the Dr. this week and we're predicting his weight to be at least 10.5 lbs. We'll keep you posted! In the meantime, here are a few pics I took today of Evan in his cute "beach" outfit.
