Oh yeah, did I mention I'm pregnant? I'm at 30 weeks right now and feeling it! Every time I pick Evan up or bend over to pick up something, my lower back wrenches just a little bit tighter. My new favorite hobby is to sit on the recliner with a heating pad on my lower back. Ahhh. Other than that, the baby is doing just fine, growing on target, etc. He is also moving around like crazy, sometimes uncomfortably so! The whole pregnancy thing still amazes me though. I'm obsessed (as Jason would tell you) with feeling my stomach move and swirl around, and trying to feel a little foot or leg. My weight gain this time around my be just a little bit higher.... I recently hit the total weight gain from when I was pregnant with Evan (21 lbs). I'm hoping that's because I'm putting on more weight and not because I'm going to have a 10 lb baby! Jason and I went on the hospital tour last night. We will be at a different hospital this time-- much closer, only 7 minutes away. They opened this maternity ward a few months after Evan was born. His hospital was about 45 minutes+ away. This belly pic (the first "bare" belly shot I've posted with this pregnancy!) was taken about a week ago, and I feel like I've grown since then, but who knows.

Baby #2 update

Cara- Thanks for the post on YOU. I love seeing Evan and hearing about his adventures. But I also love seeing YOU and hearing about YOUR adventures.
You look fantastic. Sorry to hear you're having a tough time with your back. Just think - in ~10 weeks when you have a newborn and an almost 2 year old, you'll wish your only complaint was your back. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

What a great picture! I love it. I guess I am just a couple weeks behind you, huh? Last night our little guy kept me up almost all night with "dance party usa" in my belly. Why 4 AM? WHY?!
